No Longer Breaking News: Someone attempts to kill Jamaal Tinsley ....

http://www.wthr.com/Global/story.asp?S=7471562

Jamaal Tinsley and his brothers not injured in shooting

Indianapolis - Breaking news this morning of a shooting downtown involving Jamaal Tinsley and his three brothers.

Police tell us the men, and their friends, had spent the evening at the club Cloud Nine on West 38th street.

As they were leaving the club, they say some people outside were looking at their cars. There was an argument, and the Tinsley brothers and their friends left in three cars, all registered to Jamaal Tinsley, who was not present.

Tinsley, his brothers and their friends tell police they drove downtown and shots were fired at them near the Conrad Hotel at Illinois and Washington.

Police say Joey Qatato -- a trainer for the Pacers -- was shot in the arm. He's in good condition.

While police were investigating, they discovered one man in the entourage had an outstanding warrant in Georgia, he was arrested.

Police say one member of the Tinsley party, who is licensed to have a gun, may have returned fire.

Police are looking for a dark colored Dodge Charger and a blue truck.

Those of you who don't know or live in Indianapolis, he's a moron for going to West 38th street. I got shot on that side of town myself.

I've never mentioned it here on this board, but I had a fool crash into my car while I was PARKED, blame me, and then try to shoot me in the back of my head while I wasn't looking at him. Luckily I saw it, grabed the gun, and fought back before his brave friends jumped in and attacked me. In all this the girl that was with me had time to get out of the line of fire, but I wasn't so lucky.

Those people there are freakin idiots. And so is Tinsley for going there.

Oh, and it's the same area where last year Stephen Jackson fired shots at the people who were going to run him over with their car. Ugh.

Shell casings I imagine. I don't know, I was in surgery probably about the time this picture was taken, and remained at the hospital for a week. Never got back to the site. Don't want to, actually.

Wait, I'm confused. Was Tinsley with his brothers in the bar, or did his brothers meet up with him downtown after the club when the shooting happen?

I'm not sure, they've updated the page a couple times. I guess I could turn on the news here in Indy.

**EDIT** Oh, and I heard that there were 3 cars, but only two were shot. They stopped where they did because they realized they were being followed instead of going to Jamaal's condo downtown.

Never caught 'em. Probably never will. You want to hear the fun stuff?

Not only did they not catch them, or even really have any leads ... but the newspaper thought it would be a great damn idea to put my name and address in the newspaper. So not only do they not know who did it, but if they're paying attention they can find my house.

That, and the shoe on the ground is a shoe I wasn't wearing, a nearly $200 pair of shoes, and they never put it back into my car. So got hosed on that one. Not to mention having to pay $400 to get my car out of the impound lot like I was a criminal or some shit.

Oh, and the movie theater I was at has a full working security system with cameras ..... but they just never felt like hitting the good ol "record" button that day. Fun.

I got fucked from every angle possible.

From a medical standpoint, the bullet went in my lower back, broke a rib, and bounce up through my liver and diaphram, and stopped directly under the skin where you could see it sitting there. Looked kinda sick actually. I had surgery where they took most of my organs out, and looked them over for the purpose of assessing damage, and then put them all back. I have a 10 inch scar going up and down my stomach from it. Didn't get out of the hospital bed for 6 days. Couldn't walk across the living room without being exhausted for weeks. Couldn't stand up straight or run for approx. 3 months or so. Doctor orders, I wasn't allowed to pick up more than 5 lbs for 3 months either. Just fun all around.

Tinsley's been in enough situations before that would suggest that possibly he might want to re-consider how he's living.

It's even nicer now. Out of spite. The bullet holes in the hood? I put a carbon fiber hood on it. Hole in the dash? I got a custom dash with gauge pods in it. Not to mention actual rims on it, and a JL Audio W-7 12" speaker in it now.

I will never get rid of that car, I don't think I can do it. It took more bullets than I did.

Poor car.

Damn, I am about an hour from Indy, and all my friends from Indianapolis have a story about 38th street. Not a place I would be after dark. Sorry about all that bad luck, but just be thankful you are still here.

As for Tinsley, that guy is putting his life in danger way more often than he should. He just seems to put himself in bad situations on a consistent basis. He and Daniels are the last of the 'bad apples' on that Pacer team.
