I have decided.....this is the NFL Week 15 Thread

Texans vs the Broncos, and at least 80% of the nation won't be seeing it.

Go RosenBrady!!!!

I am in a fantasy football conference finals this week.

I have decided to sit Jon Kitna and start Sage Rosenfelds.

What percent of people do you think would have seen the game if it were on Sunday?

Andre Johnson vs Den secondary or Brandon Marshall vs Hou secondary?

I really, really want to stick with Andre, but if Marshall outdoes him tonight it'll be a very tough start to my game this week. Ah well, should be a fun game to watch and I'm really curious to see how the Houston RB's fare tonight and if anybody starts to make a charge on the job for next year.

That sucks to be sure. Now who goes in for him? Travis Kirschke? Sigh.

These Red on Red Texans jerseys are scary in HD. Looks like what would happen if the Cardinals and Falcons uniforms decided to make Love.

I love how the Texans are rattling Cutler in pressure situations. Second time in a row they rushed on 4th down, this time he threw the ball away.

Go Texans.

By the way, I am decidely not a fan of monochrome uniforms but I have to admit that the Texans' uniforms look pretty good tonight. We rarely have seen that team so I don't even know what they usually wear.

I just saw the headline on ESPN that Chris Redman was going to remain the starting QB for the Falcons and he supports Petrino.

This ought to work out very well for the Falcons...

HaHaHa. Which is worse, him remaining the QB or him supporting Petrino? Even more importantly, who cares????

Hah, only one post in the NFL thread on the night of a game, given that we have a lot of Cincinnati fans here that surprises me a bit, even with the game on the NFL Network.

I am refraining from posting on teh grounds that anything I might actually have posted DURING the game would have gotten me banned or at least boxed for a month.

When I saw that Deion and Marshall Faulk were doing the game I really cringed and considered watching without sound. But they didn't end up bothering me that much. A little too much patting themselves on the backs for calling plays, but I like when the color guy(s) actually call people out. And they were saying that Chad and TJ were mailing it in and looked like they wanted to go home, they were saying how 2-11 teams really don't care about winning as much as evaluating personnel (Like the NFL wants their network broadcasting this) and they were very critical of many coaching decisions made in the game. They also gave some explanations that are a lot simpler and more reasonable then the John Madden's of the world try to present. I have to say they did allright.

I still hate Deion...he just annoys me...that will never go away. That game though, as a Bengal's fan...wow, we are just a generous team. We give every opposing quarterback the opportunity to have a career day against us. That is true Christmas Spirit, and we've had it all year! What is with all this talk of our thuggery? We are givers, not takers!

Oh, and we are a horrible, horrible, horrible football team.

It looks like good old-fashion winter conditions in Foxboro. Snow, Rain, Sleet, Wind (probably mostly rain during the game itself) I sucks I won't get the game in Boise when they're getting it about 20 miles east of here for some reason. Though I can't complain too much - I think it's only the 3rd Pats game I haven't seen live this season despite being 3,000 miles away.

21 seperate players have scored a TD for the Pats. That's sick.

Ties the NFL record held by '87 Rams and '00 Broncos.

And Troy Brown makes his debut today, so they might have a chance to set a new record.

Nice Run by Leon Washington followed by about the most inept series of 4 playcalls by a pro football team in 20 years.

Guess we get to see what a college offense can do against the pats

I can't believe we had a thread there a few weeks ago where half the posters preferred perfect conditions where the "player's talent isn't restricted" or something.

If the Jets don't get some pressure on Brady, this will be a VERY long day for New York fans.

History has been made. TB has returned a kickoff for a TD for the first time in their history.

I wasn't one of the posters on either side in that thread, but I don't think that's really what the argument was about (but I might be thinking of a different thread).

So what are the reasons why Jets fans wanted Pennington benched? He seems the far superior choice for their QB. I personally would rather have him than anything the Falcons have at QB myself.

I think it started off as the upkeep of a field, and then turned into people saying every team should get FieldTurf to reduce the effect rain, snow, etc. had on the field. And then it kind of got into how the reasoning being that mushy field means players aren't at 100%, and certain fofcers didn't want that.

I was about to comment that the Jets could steal this one with the weather supposedly getting worse in the second half and it being a close game.. but then the Pats block the Jets punt on the 3 yard line.. so never mind.
