Rewatching Ruiz-Jones Jr.

I'm watching the Ruiz-Jones fight again. So far, what I've noticed is that for the first minute or so, the ref did seem to be jumping in quickly and not letting Ruiz punch out of the clinch. But it stopped after a minute. To claim that cost you a fight, is insane. The ref did watch Ruiz claimed he did for the first minute of the first round. That was it.

The main thing I noticed was Ruiz did take the fight to Jones in the first round. However, with 15 seconds left, Jones caught Ruiz with a nice right hand that seemed to stun Ruiz while he was engaging Jones. I think, off of memory so far, that punch set the pace of the fight. After that punch, and so far in the 2nd round, Ruiz is being very cautious.

Ruiz and his manager were disgraceful. Hell, looking at Ruiz's face after the fight tells you who won.

Yeah, did you hear what Ruiz corner was yelling about to the Ref... I mean Ruiz never had a chance.... LOSER

What was Ruiz's corner yelling at the ref? I didnt watch the 30 seconds or so between rounds(as I knew the result didnt find it necessary).

I heard Ruiz bitching about the ref taking him out of his game after the fight. Sounded like a sore loser to me.
