Who will it be?

Which of these '08 opponents have a realistic shot at defeating the Patriots?

New England Patriots

Home: Buffalo, Miami, N.Y. Jets, Denver, Kansas City, Arizona, St. Louis, Pittsburgh

Away: Buffalo, Miami, N.Y. Jets, Oakland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Indianapolis

My picks:

1 Colts
2 SD
3 Seattle
4 Steelers
5 Chad Owens

4 West Coast trips. Brutal.

My pick is whatever team Chad Owens ends up on.

I'm confused by everything except the Chad Owens.

Damn good line, sir.

And yeah, four coast to coast trips is rough. The Pats won't go undefeated again if that is the point of this thread.

The Pats will win every game until the NFL folds, at which point they will turn their attention to baseball or soccer.

Honestly, I'd say every team on that list, with the likely exception of Miami and the possible exceptions of Oakland and San Francisco, have a chance to beat the Patriots next year.

Rumor has it that Chuck Norris is changing his name to Chad Owens.

Goldarn it, can't the Colts and Pats go one year without playing each other in the regular season?

One of them would have to finish out of first place in their division for that to happen. And the year it happens I am guessing will be the year their divisions play each other so they will play anyways.

Not as long as they are both in the AFC and keep winning their divisions. Until that changes (or the NFL changes its scheduling rules), they will play every year in the regular season.

Pcakers play the Cowboys and Colts at home next year. Wow. Playing the AFC South makes for a hard out of conference schedule next year for sure. Still, the combo of playing the AFC and NFC south in the same year has resulted in the Packers playing in New Orleans, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Tennessee. Tennessee and New Orleans are places I would travel to no problem, Florida is possible to. They will also play in Seattle, I could combine a trip "home" to see family and see them at the same time.

I wonder who will be QB though....

After the Dallas game, yes I think I am. It will be sad to see Favre go if he does, but from what the coaching staff has been saying about him, the other players on the Packers, and from what I saw in the Dallas game he won't be horrible.

I am worried about him and injuries though. He has been injured two years in a row now and the guy doesn't even play but once a year.
