Lightning during a snowstorm

I suppose due to the warm temperatures melting the snow the last couple days and a huge cold front rolling in, I just heard/saw thunder and lightning for the first time during a snowstorm. Definitely a cool sight.

Definitely a cool thing I want to see again. I've only seen it once in my life.

Alas, the fact that I'm in Alabama probably means I won't be seeing it for a while.

I heard some thunder in a snowstorm earlier this year but didn't see the lightning. It just feels very out of context.

As an aside, my wife and I have joked for some time that we want to see the made for tv or Sci Fi channel exclusive movie "Snownado!"
