Question on Blocking

Someone brought up an interesting question in one of my MP leagues and I thought I would post it here for discussion (formed a little differently).

Why don't WR's block?

Watching football games, we all know that WR's block, and a good number of times, I would consider them KRB's (like TO this past weekend made a really nice one). Especially on end runs. It seems to me that's something lacking in the FoF game engine.

Thoughts/Comments?

WRs are rated for blocking, so I bet that it is factored in when the success of a run is calculated. They just may not get a stat for a successful run or not. It could be that the WR is rarely the key contributor for a successful run.

those are my thoughts,
