RB Skills

I remember once seeing a thread around here ranking hole recognition as the most important skill followed by breakaway speed. I'm curious if this has been looked at in awhile. Right now I have a preference for backs with high hole rec. and elusiveness so I'm curious if game engine has changed with this regards. Anyone have any insight they'd like to share???

I'll offer a hunch.

My feeling is that as the game has evolved, the ability to really try to focus your team on one thing at the exclusion of another has suffered. (For better or for worse, a debate for a different place) And with it, I think, we have sort of lost out on the ability to try to sculpt an offense to best take advantage of limited RB skills. For this reason, I'm inclined to think that a well-rounded RB probably has a bit more value than he once did, and that a guy with only one or two significant skills might have a shade less value than before.

Let me be clear that I'm agree the goal would be to have a perfectly balance RB but maybe I wasn't clear with my question so lets do it this way. Lets say you had 300 skill points to build a RB. would you go 50 pts across the board or would you lend more too hole rec. at the expense of say power running. I realize that it's some what depended on the offense you run so generalities like this in many situations don't apply. When that's not a option what skills would you value most?
