Godzilla Blitz's Face The Board Questions

Here we have an old timer to these here message boards. Some people know him but for those who don't, make sure it does not stop you from posting a drive-by question.

The next participant is Godzilla Blitz. Questioning will continue until February 11th. The FTB will be posted on Friday, February 15th. Any questions after that deadline can be answered if Godzilla Blitz chooses to do so.

Can you speak Japanese?
Are you tempted to name a child Godzookie?

Who was your favourite in the X-Com dynasties?
Is X-Com a good game? I've never played it.

This is not a question, technically. Also, you are horribly misguided in your support of sports teams.

Fair enough. Here's a question:

Have you ever actually defecated on a Notre Dame helmet? If so, did you take a pic and post it on ratemypoo dot com? What was the rating?

How'd you come with your name? Ever wish you'd thought of another?

How often do you play FOF or TCY these days?

Best Godzilla movie made? Worst?

what food could you eat every day for the rest of your life?

X-Com question:

Back in the day, me and some friends of mine used to attempt what we called "Operation Toastmaker" when playing X-Com. Here are the rules: You take 20 rookies to Mars. Each soldier is armed with a laser pistol and one gernade. Your soldiers can not wear any armor. No vehicles allowed. No saves.

Do you think this mission is possible?

Additional questions:

Why hasn't anyone been able to make a squad-level, turn-based PC game better than X-Com?

What are the major changes/upgrades you would want for a new X-Com game?

Other than Godzilla himself, who is your favorite Godzilla monster?

On a scale from 1-10, how bad was the Matthew Broderick "Godzilla"?

Why did you feel the need to always kill me off on my first mission?

Any hopes of another dynasty, of any kind, gracing our boards again?

Am i your favorite poster at FOFC, or am I your favorite poster on all boards?

Do you miss me like i miss you ?

I know you speak (or at least read) Japanese. Are you of Japanese decent? Or from Japan originally? I'm sorry if there's a really obvious answer, I just realized I didn't know..

So far in your Final Fantasy fun, which is your favorite game? Which are you most looking forward to? Least?

What persuaded you to start playing through all the FF's in Japanese?

How did you settle on the screenname Godzilla Blitz?

What brought you to FOFC originally? What's kept you here?

Godzilla as a Will linebacker on the blitz vs. Mothra as the weakside tackle tasked with stopping him. Who wins? If it helps, imagine Tom Brady is the QB.

Who better, MechaGodzilla or Robot King Kong?

If you could eliminate (ban, not kill) one member of FOFC, who would it be?

Would you rather watch 24 hours of porn or 24 hours of Seinfeld?

Hey all,

Just wanted to stop by and mention what I passed on to Antmeister...

I'm looking forward to answering all the questions, but I'm going to be out of town until early next week. Internet access and free time will be hit or miss, so I don't know how often I'll be able to check in until I get back. Once I get back, I'll start putting together the answers, and will post them on the 15th. Keep 'em coming!

I like the first question, though: Who? That's an easy one! Even I know the answer to that one!

I'd love to pile on more x-com questions as that was such an awesome time (and my character was badass) but I'll refrain ..

Ok, no I won't...

What do you think made the dynasty "work" and be the success that it was?

For non x-com:

What has you more away from FOFC these days? Anything interesting?

What is your dream job?

What did it feel like to get Kodos killed in that mission before you lost the dynasty save?

Would just like to also thank you; your dynasty got me into X-Com and I love that game very dearly these days.

If you were another person, would you be friends with yourself?

How honest are you? If you're in need of money and happen to find a wallet on the street with cash, would you take a few bucks?

What are you best and worst qualities?

What is the first thing you notice about people you're attracted to?

What is your favorite movie genre? Favorite movies in said genre? Which movies can you watch over and over?

Do you have a special talent?

Where would you rather be right now?

Here is the earliest X-Com II thread that I could find in the archives. The greatest dynasty in FOFC history. DC, treat yourself and read it. It is fantastic.

If you were paid mucho dinero to create a video game based on an '80's movie franchise, would you go with Cannonball Run or Police Academy? There are no other acceptable answers.

Balls. Is it the 24th already? Argh. Sorry this is late.

The past week and a half went crazy. And then I thought I was going to have internet access and could write this from the hotel I was at over the weekend, but they wanted to charge some silly amount for access and I had too much champagne to write coherently anyway.

I think I can do this tomorrow sometime, though.
