Is There a Hockey Version of FoF?

Hey guys,
I'm a big hockey fan too, and I was wondering if anyone one else out there had heard of, or played a hockey management game, similar to FoF - similar meaning good

There is also a free version, which some people actually prefer.

There is a misunderstanding here. There is a freeware EHM for which the last version was released way back in 2001 or 2002. The freeware is still being updated once a year with roster sets from fans. Since then, the creator of the game has released NHL:EHM, NHL:EHM 2005 and NHL:EHM 2007 which are not freewares.

It sucks, the game is not being developped anymore...

the beauty of freeware EHM to me was that it simply played so fast. I mean at the speed of like FOF as opposed to the speed of FM. Now there's something to be said for both types of games, don't get me wrong, as we all know i'm a HUGE FM fan. But it's also nice to fire up FOF and sim through 2-3 seasons and offseasons in an hour.

I've played each version except for the 2005 release and pretty much would completely endorse any of them. Personally I prefer the 2007 version, but I'm sure part of that was familiarity with the series starting with the freeware version. I'd recommend starting with that and if you enjoy, look at purchasing the 2007 version and hopefully if enough people end up buying it they'll look at re-opening the series.

And now back to my 2053/54 season.
