Are the penalties purely random or are they tied to some player? It would be nice to have a better grasp on the issue so we can make changes to impact the game. For example, we know who is responsible for the sack. It would be nice to know who is responsible for penalties so guys with high penalty rates could be taken care of.

It would also be nice if we had the ability to designate RB, FB, TE, etc as being a pass block helper against a specific DL person. In other words, we could double team your stud DE like the pros do. Some DEs get chipped all game by TEs, FBs, RBs, etc to reduce effectiveness. We can 2x the WR but not the DL guy.

It would also be cool to have an offensive gameplan option to attack certain defenders in the secondary. For example, QB is encouraged to go to the slot WR or to throw to the WR covered by X CB...

just some thoughts. We seem a bit weak in these areas.

I'm fairly certain individual player's do not have penalty ratings and that penalties are tied to the head coach's tenure and discipline rating.
