How about some info on Drayton Calhoun? Dat boy looks very fast, although I guess he won't play RB at the next level. He may not stick with LSU by this time next year, but would be interested in what you've seen of him thus far and how you think he projects.
Now that I live out here, I will have to hit up some Tucker games in the fall to check him out! |

Hard to say. I've been gone for two seasons now. He was a freshman when I was last in Tucker. I've seen him play a couple of times since I moved, but as of this point, I can't tell you anything more than you could read at the recruiting sites about him. Most of the coaches that I knew the best are no longer at Tucker, either. Sorry.

Probably won't have much better luck here, but what about Jamoris Slaughter coming up north to ND? Looks like a solid hitter at safety, not sure about the coverage skills after the one game I saw.

D'oh, I forgot that you had moved. I'll just have to check him out myself, as if I need an excuse to go watch some football.

I'm in the same boat as SD. But I can say that the last Tucker game I attended the coaches told me to watch out for DC. This was a game when he was a sophomore. My two buddies who went to the game with me have been keeping tabs on him ever since.
He has great speed and "fast feet," if that makes sense. He can play multiple positions in a high school offense. I assume that bodes well for a Les Miles team. Last edited by digamma : 02-27-2008 at 11:28 PM. |
