What is there to do in Sarasota, St. Pete, and Tampa?
I won the right to stay a week at a condo (likely to be fairly luxurious) in Anna Maria FL, which is about an hour away from those places. Is there anything exciting to do in any of those places in June?
Instead of that I could take a $500 Morton's Certificate or get some really terrific seats to a baseball game, so there is an opportunity cost involved and I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it. |

There used to be dog tracks in those places... not sure if they're still there or not, though.

Tampa has a pretty decent horse racing track, the D-Rays are cheap and tix are available and (w/o going into why I know this) there is a wide array of strip clubs as well as decent bars in the area.

Hurricane season starts June 1st. You could get a beach view of a tropical storm.
