End of game logic

Okay, fourth and four from your own 8. You are up 29-23. Ten seconds to go. So what do you do? Punt or take a safety? Well the Rams punted and:

-4-LAS08 (4Q: 00:10) Danny Villaneuva punted and it was blocked by Kyle Carpenter. DEN Armon Martin recovered the ball in the end zone for a TOUCHDOWN! Denver 29, Los Angeles 29
(4Q: 00:10) Extra point by Gene Mingo was good. Denver 30, Los Angeles 29
Final Score: Denver Broncos 30, Los Angeles Rams 29

Bad enough, but the first time the Rams had fourth down on their own 8 yard line this game:

4-11-LAS08 (1Q: 10:52) Danny Villaneuva punted and it was blocked by Doyle Nix. DEN Doug Harrison recovered the ball in the end zone for a TOUCHDOWN! Denver 6, Los Angeles 0

Some people never learn.

Please, Jim, let even a Los Angeles team be astute enough to take a safety when it guarantees a win.

I'm not sure I've ever seen "Take a Safety" in FOF. Not sure that it exists.

That's my point. It should.

When they fix this:

http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/...ad.php?t=64116

maybe we can start worrying about taking a safety.

Coming from someone who has already won a game on a late kick return this season...don't kick off deep, ok? Really...just don't.
