Question I thought this was a FOF board

I must be confused or incorrectly assuming this board is based upon Front Office Football. I could be wrong, but there sure seems to be a whole lot more traffic on this Hattrick thing than anything else. Does Hattrick not have its own board or is this now it?

Perhaps with all the Hattrick volume, Hattrick could have its own board alongside General Discussion and College Football.

Doubtful, every now and then a FOF thread goes up. It's the nature of the beast.

so? this board is a place for discussion of everything. Sure it started out as a FOF board, but the new FOF wasn't that much different from other versions and prompted less discussion. If the hattrick topics bother you, you don't have to read them. Many of us enjoy them and enjoy talking about the game within this community

FOF is dead man...long live Hattrick...

No really, seriously, FOF is a great game, I did own it and play it (not the new one), and I own TCY, but the novelty has worn off, nothing grabbed me to buy the newest version which differed little from the older version (I know there were some big differences) but nothing that I took it to be a worthwhile purchase...FOF is a good franchise, but so was Baseball Mogul, and see what has happened to that one, it's been passed by but better games...it happens...I figure a new version will come out, or Jim will wow us with something us...but in the meantime there is much in the way of addiction by playing hattrick (until CM4 comes out, but I must admit I'm a little hesistant to buy as the interface gives me a headache).

The Front Office Football is just to get people in the door.

It's like when you're watching the news on TV and as a commercial lead in before weather they say, "When we come back we'll tell you if it's gonna rain tomorrow," and then when commercials are over they say, "Nope, not gonna rain."

Something like that anyway.

Am I making any sense?

Go read the strategy board or something if you FOF, I don't think Hattrick has taken it over, yet. That's an idea, now that I think of it...

Hattrick is an online soccer sim. Click here to check it out. If you do join, feel free to add your team to the FOFC team list over in the Dynasty Thread. Enjoy!

I'm going to try Hattrick one of these days. Probably before I try the CM series. I don't like soccer, don't know anything about it, but there are too many people addicted to these games for me to ignore them.

What is really fucked up is that I could give a shit less about soccer but I am hooked on hattrick and I'm whooping dat ass in my series. Figure that one out.
