online civ like game

I don't know if this has been posted before or not. I know some of you guys like Civ and like online games. I was asked to join this game by a friend who plays, but decided I didn't have time. Plus I think it's still in beta, which I can't stand to deal with.

Here's a brief description of the game.

Epoch is a turn based, text based multiplayer online strategy game.
You start out in the copper age and work your way through the nano age.
Research new technologies to gain an edge in combat.
With over a hundred unique units and buildings, it has the greatest scope of any text based game.
