Not a good start for my team with Christmas laying a near egg and Temple having the early exit. At least, Xavier avoided the early exit.

If Indiana can somehow get to the sweet 16(and take out NC), I think I have a decent shot at winning this. However if they go one and done, it's going to be hard.

spreadsheet is updated w/ all games that are completed so far.

Also, apparently if you don't have a google/gmail account you can't use that first link. This is a "published" document that should work if the other doesnt:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...0_LERKhJKhmBGw

very rough start for EF27.

No kidding. It didn't work out at all how I hoped and my enjoyment of the tourney took a dive tonight with that rough loss.

FYI, I obviously meant Joe Alexander, not Frank Alexander...I don't think a Frank exists on WVA.

It's happening again. Scrappy 3 point specialst on my team is shitting the Bed. Josh Young of Drake better get his shit together, and start hitting some threes, 0-6 at the half.

Yeah...I wish my higher seeded players would score even half of what Curry does, but it terms of this contest (and the expense of my bracket), Curry doing what he did AND winning is pretty awesome.

Exactly - I was feeling good about my double-digit seed getting 27 and heading to the door. But Curry getting another game (as did Beasley) is a pretty major edge.

scoring is updated through the earlier games today. sooner333 has a few guys that don't put up great scores, but all 6 advance to the next round.

I'm counting on your boy, Ellington, to have a big game to get me back into it.

Actually, I need 4 or 5 big games from him at least.

I see no reason he can't have 6!

Ellington can be very very streaky and can have entire halves where he puts up tons of awful shots that don't fall. But hopefully that doesn't happen at any point over the next 6 games.

Wow, I'm just about done. I can only take 2 guys max into the elite 8. I basically need Beasley to go all cinderella and make the finals vs Memphis to have any shot at this.

I'm feeling pretty good with the players I have left...the only real disaster would be Texas losing tomorrow. Maybe Shipp will decide to score next game.

you've got to be the favorite to win this for now. Hoopsguy could give you a run with the 4 that he has left. Shorty and EF27 both could as well with the right mix of scoring/teams advancing, but I think you and hoopsguy have a pretty big edge for now.

With Texas and Davidson moving on this is going to be hard for anyone else to win besides Sooner. I'm not having a bad tourney, but he is having a great one so far.

Abrams and Love will CARRY me to the title - played with a handicap of 5 players to start damn AJ Price!!

And I hate to do this to myself, especially because I'm NOT double-checking everybody else, but Padgett scored 8 in round 2, not 18.

It's not over until we say it is over!

BTW, can Davidson please lose soon?

Man, I even had the Zags beating Davidson in my bracket...I just wanted the 25 points from him with the decent chance (they were slight Vegas favorites) he might get 20 more. All I can say is that without him, we'd have a much better contest right now.

Well, I'll have four going in the Final Four, but I realistically need a UCLA/Kansas final and a good amount of luck to put any kind of scare into Sooner.

scores are updated. sooner has quite the lead, but he's down to just Josh Shipp, who hasn't really been lighting it up.

hoopsguy has Collison, Chalmers, Arthur, and Lawson all still left.

EaglesFan27 has Ellington, Rose and Westbrook left.

Big games frm Ellington and Rose leading up to a UNC/Memphis final gives EF27 a great chance, and a Kansas/UCLA final looks like hoopsguy's hope.
