Single Player Strength

I'm thinking about making another text sim purchase and FOF is one of the options. I think I bought the last version but was scared off by the lack of new features and manual scouting element in the newer one. My question is, is the SP element improved to give me a fairly realistic and challenging experience? Also, any tips (settings wise not house rules, I don't like having to use house rules) that can add to the challenge. I'm a fairly casual player, macro manager but if I take over the Browns I want it to be a fairly realistic challenge. Thanks.

Well, I think a lot of people who play SP need house rules to prevent themselves from dominating. If your not willing to use them, I don't know how realistic the challenge would be.

That's just my 2 cents.

I don't think the next version will be harder. As long as the human is able to find ways to 'cheat' the game. The A.I. is not adaptive so once you figure out its tendencies you pretty much can win at will if you wanted.

A challenge I like to use is to build up a monster team then take the worst team in the same division and try to build them up.
