I swear I had nothing to do with this.

http://www.newschannel9.com/news/pla...ged_state.html

NewsChannel 9 has obtained 9-1-1 calls of an incident that resulted in assault charges, and the suspension of a Tennessee state trooper.

Trooper Clinton "Pumpy" Tudors was charged with assault last week by Joe Brackett, his girlfriend's father, and was placed on administrative leave with pay from the Tennessee Highway Patrol. He is now back to regular duties according to his family.

According to reports, Brackett said "Pumpy Tudors asked 'why do you hate me,' and I advised Pumpy that I didn't like the way he and my daughter was doing..."

Tudors said in a report Brackett "started to curse and threaten Mr. Tudors, calling him (curse words) and then grabbed the iron and tried to hit Mr. Tudors."

Tudors: "Well I was trying to fix an iron for my girlfriend Melissa Brackett I come to fix an iron, He tried to hit me with an iron."

Tudors says he held down Brackett until help arrived, saying Bracket had hit him in the throat.

But Brackett says in his report "Pumpy threw down the knife and kitchen iron down and grabbed me and fought and pushed me to the floor in the living room and roughed me up."

Deputies investigating the case said they observed and took pictures of injuries on both men.

We tried to speak with Tudors at his home and on his cellphone but our messages have not yet been returned.

Tudors and Brackett are scheduled to appear in Marion County Sessions Court April 4.

Prior to becoming a Tennessee Highway Patrolman, Tudors was an All-American punter at U-T-C. He was also placed on administrative leave from the T-H-P for another unspecified violation last year.

I like how you refer to your girlfriend using her full name.

Pumpy, you should consider a name change or Trooper Tudors will stalk you down and punch you in the throat.

It's funny that Brackett's report refers to himself in first person, but Pumpy's report refers to himself in third person.

I thought this was made up, but was shocked to see that it's the real article! They actually write like this in Tennessee?

Make that iron a food processor and I would wonder how you got to write the story...

The most confusing parts of the article are not the writing but the quotes. It's not that they write that way in Tennessee, it's that they talk that way.

I'm stunned. How in the world could there be another Pumpy Tudors? Next thing you know Analbum Cover will be brought in on pornography charges.

I have to say...I'm a big fan of Pumpy's work in the movie "Identity".

Therefore...I do not believe this story to be true.
