Coaches/Coordinators

Before my actual question, let me know if my understanding is correct:

Coordinators help players learn and grow. Coaches make the weekly decisions based on the gameplan you are using.

If this is so, does anyone know how much the Head Coach actually affects a game? Would you say a good Head Coach is worth 1 more win a season over a bad Head Coach?

Other then injury avoidance(Silly rating imo for reasons I won't say) and maybe motivation the head coach at least in my not so scientific opinion is just there to be there.

I'm new to the game and I am loving it... I always wondered this with simulation games. does picking coaches ever really effect a season outcome. I think if modeled properly having a hc/oc/dc that have high reps with certain positions should make those player more content and develop faster. I would hope this is how it works practically, but who knows. It would be great if a coach had such a bad rep with players that they flat out refuse to sign with your team because of that.
