Officially Graduated!
11 years it's been since my high school graduation.
And today I graduated with my bachelor's!  It was a great feeling, especially wearing honors cords and my study abroad in Spain sash. Those two things really symbolized for me just how far I've come from that rock-bottom point I was once at (though true to absent-minded form, I'd left my Golden Key medallion back in my hometown.  Still don't know yet what my grad school situation is. I'm hoping to get a fellowship at Arkansas after my assistantship fell through, but I'll figure something out in any case. Right now, I'm just enjoying this incredible day and this amazing sense of accomplishment and redemption.

I got to hear Joe Buck clown Mark Mulder and Jason Isringhausen as he addressed the graduating class at St. Louis U. today. It was great.

Thank you all!
The house and like 10 blocks around us and more lost all power for a number of hours, which made the whole last evening very surreal. I headed downtown and chugged screwdrivers like they were water with some of my fraternity brothers. Incidentally, my hatred of the sorority girls is at an all-time high, because they're stuck up bitches, but I knew that before. I just thought maybe they'd mellow out on this last night, but nope. Oh well, I had a grand day and a pleasant evening in spite of that and tomorrow morning I move out for good. Don't know when I'll return either, though some people are hoping I'll come back during the summer. But we'll see. Thanks again, guys I love FOFC!!
