2004 It Rhymes With Puke Awards (I must shoot Dick Vitale Award)
Yes, it's the "If I ever hear Dick Vitale mention this guy's name, I'm going to go on a ten-state killing spree" award. This year, we have a bumper crop of candidates, but a few stand out more than the others:
Here are the candidates: SF Cuonzo Owens: 16.2 points/game, 7 rebounds/game, 53% FG%, 81% FT% Led the team in points, second on the team in rebounding. PG Courtney Lyles: 9.6 points/game, 6.5 assists/game, 56% FG%, 95% FT% Led the team in assists. ACC Freshman of the Year. C Brad Braswell: 8.5 points/game, 7.9 rebounds/game, 2.5 blocked shots/game. Led the team in rebounding and blocked shots.
