Noob GM looking for a MP home

Hi mates,

After several season of solo FOF 2007 I feel it's time to give multiplayer a shot.

Is there a league for new GM's? Do I need other software to play FOF in Multiplayer mode?

Thanks!
TheDuke

Check out this thread:

It's a great group and they are very friendly. There are teams available now.

You do not need additional software to play MP FoF though you will need to create some batch files and some leagues use a drafting utility. But the guys in whatever league you choose will help you through that.

Check out the vNFL House League too -

vNFL House League

It was my first MP league, we sim 5 games a week which is a lot of fun. It's fictional teams with real players (I've found that the longer I play MP the better I like the fictional teams, it's easier to get immersed in the game if you have that break with reality). The players are from the '90s (we just started the 1994 season). And the guys there are great. If you go to the forums, the house league is about halfway down the page, it shares the forum with its parent league the vNFL.

If you're looking for an NFL-team type league, check out AFLAC, it's very well-run: http://aflac.simsportleagues.com/index.php

Legendsport also has a good NFL Historical league that has openings in the AUFL: http://aufl.simsportleagues.com/ - we're in 1986 there now.

Both of those leagues sim two games each week, so they are slower, but all three of those leagues have openings and we'd love to have you join one of them!

You may want to join, like David suggested, an established league. If you would like to consider a brand new league and grow with us, take a look at Glory Days Football League
