Exclamation Great RPG's for Cheap.

A few days ago I bought a few PS1 RPG's for cheap .
I spent less than 50 on the following games .
Chrono Cross
Vagrant Story
Legend of Dragoon

And Im impressed by what I have seen so far .
Proof once more that the ps 1 is still alive ....

Am eagerrly awaiting FF Chronicles to be released .

what's in origins?

I've heard mixed reviews on Dark Cloud 2. The first one was addictive as hell for about the first 2 dungeons, then got repetitive & boring.

I didn't like Chrono Cross allthat much. It was good, but it didn't come near to living up to Chrono Trigger. My all-time favorite PS1 "RPG" was Final Fantasy Tactics.

I rented Dragoon a few times, but never got close to finishing it. It's well done... basically a ripoff of the final fantasy series, and it takes forever to get through, but it has it's moments.

I can't see myself spending money for games that were originally for an 8-bit system, even if ff2 was never released here. Are they retouching them at all?

btw, for the people who bought ff chronicles, were the load times as bad as ff anthology?

One of my hobbies is scouring ebay for obscure rpg's, even if I have no intention of ever playing them. A week ago, I started playing Persona 2: Eternal Punishment, after having bought it about a year ago. It's pretty unique; try to pick it up if you can find it.

Yeah, it's really sad when the allegedly faster system has 5 second load times.

Then again, Gamecube is second to none in load times. Anything that's not some cheap 3rd party port *cough*madden*cough* has really really small load times or none at all.

Form the screenshots I have seen, they are redoing all the graphics for both games, and adding FMV to them.
