Cm4?
What is CM4? I've read people saying "I'll wait until CM4 is out"... I'm guessing it's like Front Office Football, but with soccer instead?

Widedly regarded as the greatest sport text sim whatsoever. OOTP is good, but isn't close to the level of detail and immersiveness that CM offers.

Yep.. The general consensus is that CM is by far the best sports text sim you can buy.

is it world cup teams? Or do you take control of clubs from anywhere in the world? Even places like Canada?

No, Canada is not included, but there's 39 countries available with 88 selectable leagues. You can play the World Cup too if you want, but your reputation must be high enough to be able to land the job as manager of a national team.

It's come to the point where since i started playing CM 01/02, I am no longer able to play any other text sim in a solo career.
Damn you Vaughan. Neuqua

I started when it was the original CM, much slower, and much less complex, so my comment would be
Damn you Collyer Brothers for getting me addicted all those years ago. As well as Mac Howard for getting me addicted on Head Coach, which caused me to try FOF and get addicted to it.

Some of the editors for CM3 supposedly allows you to turn some of the teams that aren't meant to be coachable into one that is. Not sure how well it works. IF it did, then I'd eventually expect one for CM4 eventually.
