Dammit, that does it. I'm boycotting CBS

Never mind that the games they've switched to ESPN I evidently don't get on DirecTV. They're showing the opening 3 minutes of Memphis/Arizona State instead of the end of this Stanford/San Diego game. Why, God, have you "blessed" my local CBS affiliate with such stupidity?

Gah.

Josh

Crap. I had the TV on ESPN waiting for the games to come back on. Doh!

I've already decided to boycott all non-NCAA programming of CBS, haven't been able to watch any basketball at all today

I got the end of the Stanford/SD game on my CBS station.

Can't get it where I live. They don't run calbe out here yet, even though people about a mile away can and the cable company has said for a few years that they will 'soon'.

Though fortunately CBS is currently airing Illinois vs. Western Kentucy.

My CBS affiliate was showing Memphis/ASU (had just started), and ESPN was showing "World's Strongest Man."

I'm so pissed right now.

They interrupted the Illini game in the second half to show that Lake Shore Drive was closed due to war protesters. I feel dirty for wishing that a tornado would have just lifted them up, so they would go back to the Illini game.

Any protesters blocking streets should be ticketed.

Though I was glad to see the Illini win, espcially with how bad a few of my picks went today, I need them to keep winning being I have them going to the Final Four.

Good, I'm not the only one having them going to the Final Four. Though some ESPN people are predicting them to. Go Illini!!!

At least the NCAA is not taking the MLB's way out and postponing the games. Japan does not seem like a terrorist hot spot to me?

You're right about that. But there is this notion about being away from your country when it is at war. MLB felt it was more appropriate for players to remain stateside.
