Last minute FF advice
I have Santonio Holmes in my lineup. But the snow is coming down right now in Pittsburgh, 1 hour before kickoff.
On my bench I have Chris Chambers and Donnie Avery. Chambers is not the answer, as he'll also be in the snow (PIT-SD). Donnie Avery gets the 49ers in warm sunny SF. Do i switch out Holmes for Avery?

More potential for points with Holmes than you would with Avery (only 2 TDs on the season). Chris Chambers is trying to come back from a ankle sprain and I don't see him being too mobile in the cold and snow.
Tough one indeed, go with your gut on this one.

I put Holmes in this morning, but I'm wondering if I should put Braylon Edwards in instead.

If Holmes had been blowing away Avery, there is no question.
If Big Ben hasn't been so erractic, there is no question. Also, Holmes has the same 2 TDs on the year.

STL has no run game without Jackson. SF is gonna sit back and cover the pass and force Bulger to win it with his arm. SF isn't a good D, but their secondary is their strength.
I'd take Holmes |
