FOF vs Real-life

Okay, so, i have a couple of questions to which i couldnt find definite answers. Maybe some of you veterans can help me out.

1) Does weight matter?

I mean, two LT's, with identical bars, the other one 3 inches longer and 40 pds heavier, should be a much better blocker, right? Any idea if this is the case?

2) Motivation

Is this factored in, and if it is, how much it affects? Attitude is the only thing i can find, and i think it only affects negotiations.

3) Streaks

Do players have good/bad streaks, or are they just consequential dice rolls that feel like it?

4) Inactives

In the real NFL, your 3rd QB can be inactive, not the case in FOF? Design desicion or bug?

Thanks to any and all who answer. Mind you, im playin SP only, not that it should affect any of this.

1) It matters some. One of the Q&A's with the developer linked in the reference thread refers to height/weight. It's unclear whether each position has an ideal weight or an ideal bmi as the developer's words in the Q&A could be taken in different ways. The further a player is from the ideal however, the less likely he is to perform at the full level of his ratings. It's not clear exactly how much this matters, but I would venture that it's probably a five point swing on the ratings scale and you will very rarely face decisions where all else is equal and personnel decisions come down to things like this.

2) It matters, but again we don't know how much. It has nothing to do with player attitude, however, which you rightly note is purely related to playing time and contract issues. My observation and limited testing make me think a good coach (generally, not simply a good motivator) is probably worth a game more a year than a bad one. Take that for what it's worth.

3) We don't know. I don't believe streaks are modelled per se, but there are plenty of times where I feel like my team is "hot." This is almost certainly a diceroll thing, and if I put my existential hat on I could probably argue the real life corollary is similarly random.

4) Not a bug, but a design decision. In real life teams have emergency QBs who played the position in college or something and can functionally take some snaps in dire circumstances. FOF doesn't have guys like that, so I think the three QBs rule is meant as a backstop for freak injury games. That said, your third QB can be "Out."
