FOF2007/TCY Draft Import - Screwy

Help!

I started a new FOF2007 league, using an alternate player file commencing in 1999, playing the Arizona Anarchists. I quickly simmed to the end of the 2004 season so I could use a draft import file from my Arizona State game. After importing the .faf I went into the draft preview to determine whom to interview. Well, there is a wicked good CB who ALREADY HAS ENTRIES IN HIS "INJURY AND TRANSACTION HISTORY!!!" (Contract details and two mild injuries.)

Knowing he was signed by New Jersey I took a look at their roster to see if the transaction and injuries were still with whom they should have been. Well, sure enough, they are still with the 2nd-year FS to whom they belong. But interestingly, this FS has combine information and the scouting report from the CB. And I could interview him!

I've tried to export a fresh copy from TCY and then re-importing a couple of time and the problems persist. I looked at the .faf file using an hex editor and he is the first entry.

So does anybody have an idea where this corruption might have happened? Was it when I used StelmackSoft 2007 FOF2k7 Suite? Am I screwed? Will this have a ripple effects on my league to such a vast extent that it'll melt my hard drive? Should I just start over?

Opinions please.
