Draft utility Mock Draft problem?

With a new draft coming up in our league it was time to get the new draft file up for the utility. I got the FOFrooter, draft order file, and draft preview files up into the utility. But a strange thing happens when I do the mock draft portion after I put the FOFroster.csv file in. The order and players are fine. But the weird thing is the comments section:

"{insert team name} has already picked at all positions, and this is the best player still on the board."


I asked Jon about this and he seems to think it is a draft order file problem. I do have the print to file, generic printer/text only printer that I saw in a thread here in FOFC. I also have placed this all over the HD just to see what would happen. But I still get the same result as above. Has anybody had this problem before and if so, does anybody know a solution to this?

Not sure if it matters or not but I have Windows Vista.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The mock draft requires you to assign the team names from the extractor export to the team abbreviations that are in the draft order. You should get a screen after you import the extractor file that allows you to assign all 32 team names to their abbreviations. If you don't get this screen, or if you don't assign the team names to abbreviations in the draft order, you'll get the message you got above. If you don't get all 32 teams when you import the mock draft file, then you didn't export the extractor run on the entire league. If you did get all 32 teams and assigned them to an abbreviation but you're still getting that message before the team has picked anything, it means that the team abbreviation wasn't assigned to a team in the extractor upload, which can happen if you assign the abbreviation to more than one team or possibly have more abbreviations (from previous draft uploads) than you actually have in the draft, and have assigned the team names to abbreviations that are not in the draft.

I do get that screen and also get the correct team abbreviations. For the draft eligible I have tried both the xxx and also the blank abbreviations and still the same thing occurs

Ah, ok. I think I usually have the free agent export turned off, that's what those guys are. Just leave that blank, that should be fine.

Edit: Nope turning Export Free Agents on produced the same results

Well, that draft order looks like it should. Might need to delete the config.inc.php file to force a re-install. Once the team list has been created it doesn't delete existing teams - so it could still be something wrong from when the draft order file was incorrect.

I asked someone to send me a draft order file that uses a different system (XP) and still got the same results.

Well Now I have two Jets teams for users. One that has NYJ and one that has NJY on the utility. Listed as 33 teams instead of 32. Could that be the problem?
