Front Office Football Question

Hi, I just finished my first Front Office Football season (1975). How do I advance the game ahead to the off-season and into '76? I am running a historical league. From what I understand I'm supposed to import the '76 draft file before free agency. Is this correct?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You'll get a chance to upload the draft file after you close out the season, I think either during the ticket prices stage or before staff hiring starts.

Click "End Season" at the top of the screen to advance to the offseason. Right before free agency begins, you'll get an "Import Draft" button in the same area.

Thanks for your reply and for the information. However, when I try to import the draft file I get this message:

Draft Files not compatible with this version of FOF.

I have FOF2007. The draft file types are listed as: Draft Files (*.faf). The draft files are listed as 1976.fdt, for example.

Any ideas?

You have 2k4 draft files most likely. You need 2k7 draft files.

fdt files are only used to start a new game, they are usually called "roster files" as they contain full rosters for all 32 teams.

Correct. FOF2K7 will accept draft files created for FOF2K4 and FOF2K7.

As 3Ric said, .fdt files are roster files. You need .faf draft files.

Look in the reference thread, there's a couple different draft files there as well as roster files. You want the draft files for the draft.

Thanks again. Our posts must have crossed paths. I was able to download the files and get them set up.

Thanks for your help. Enjoy the new year!
