Problems with New Game menu

Ok, I've had the game for about a week, I've joined 2 online leagues and gotten them to work correctly but when I try to begin a new single player league it won't let me. The OK button is locked and won't allow me to click it. I've installed the game on 2 computers 1 with Vista the other with windows and have the same problem on both computers. Is there a file missing, or something special I have to do? I had hoped I could get it figured out on my own. Thanks for any advise/help in the matter.

Brian

There is a FAQ about setting up the game on a CPU with Vista. I cannot find the link. I do not know if I saw it in here or on the Solesmic website.

Depending in how CPU savvy you are, it basically boils down to giving your account full permissions to the Solesmic folder. Something that does not happen by default with Vista.

I gave my account full permissions and had no issues.

Have you put in a league ID? Even in SP you need to put in any random league ID - should then work.

Thanks for the post, but on my Vista version I had already given permission to the whole folder because I had to give permission for the Exports folder for my online leagues. This still didn't fix the problem and the NEW GAME MENU has the same problems on my Windows PC. I was hoping it was a Vista issue myself. Thanks again.

I'd forgotten to mention there's an issue with the begin without a draft option as well. Both those options are locked.

I have put in an ID. I've done about all I know to try on that Screen. I thought maybe I may need a file or I've overlooked something.

For me, the OK button becomes clickable once I've entered in an ID and a GM's first and last name.

None of the draft options are locked, though.
