All team names are incorrect some player names are wrong. You can edit them.

The club teams are all fictional, but almost everything in the game can be editted. I used a guide I found at www.gamefaqs.com which had every little change needed to duplicate real life.
Great game! Neuqua

Franchise mode is different, it's called Master League. You basically pick a team, and they fill it with pre-set ficticious players. You go through the season, have cups, promotions, relegations, and you earn points every time you win..and sometimes even when you draw I think. You use these points to buy transfers. It's a bit arcady, but actually a lot of fun. You basically work your way up through the three divisions, and basically by the end you'll have an all-star team of your choice. Although, the actual getting there is tough, I found it quite difficult starting out, as your players are nowhere near the caliber of the other teams to start. It's just a matter of managing a draw, and maybe an occasional win to just get enough points to buy a better player.
As far as I can tell, a player won't decline a contract if you have the set amount of points he needs, not 100% sure on this though, I've just finished my 1st season, in crazy fashion nonetheless. It took a last minute goal in the final game of the promotion round to put me through. That one was a nailbiter. Last edited by Calis : 03-26-2003 at 05:42 PM. |
