Already have it and with the new 3D engine, it is awesome. The only negative is that since they are licensed to use the actual team names, all of the division and team names are butchered. At first, I thought it was the wrong language file.

There is a third party mod pack linked somewhere in their forums with all the real teams and players.

Looks like GDJ's been fixed. Looked like it had been hacked for a bit

Thanks for posting this! I've been tempted the past few weeks to pick this up and 50% off is a great deal.

I'm assuming the game doesn't need a major gaming rig to run smoothly when playing a game on the field?

Wow.. this game is addicting!!!

Does anyone know why when I set up my controller, I don't see a place to assign "tackling" to a button?

All I see is shooting, passing, call for a pass, and lob.

Just bought the game, where do I register it? I got an e-mail with my code but am not sure where I am supposed to enter it. So far the game seems to be working without it.

edit: Found it.

Ok, the "lob" button is also the tackling button... now, I'm assuming the "head ball" button is the same as one of the other buttons?

I'm at work today thinking about what I'm going to work on as far as my soccer skills go when I get home.

Played in my first pitch and the newspapers said I was horrible... which they were right about.

I bought the game on sale too and have been enjoying it. I haven't been blown away by the game yet but it certainly has that "just one more game" quality to it

If you have already started a game with the default db.. such as I have.. the fudgedb program will correct all the player names and team names on your saved game!!!

I don't know if they will work for you but you could try the suggestions in these threads.

hang during "generating players" - NewStarForums

Flash, do you have a dual monitor setup? For me it crashed when i had a dual monitor and ultramon runing. When i disable ultramon, the game loads properly.

Looks like it's on sale again, this time for $15. Anyone tried it? How is it better than NSS3?
