Anyone else having problems with disappearing wives? (Fable 2)

I've searched the internets and it seems like there's no real solution to this problem. I married a girl named Alex, but she disappeared on me and I can't find her anywhere. Apparently others have had problems with randomly disappearing wives/husbands.

Anyone on FOFC had this problem and been able to fix it at all?

It really pisses me off. Just when I think Molyneux finally got off his dead ass and delivered a game that actually manages not to fall far short of expectations, this irritating bug/glitch pops up that they apparently haven't bothered to fix.

I haven't logged in for a while (to Fable 2 that is), so have they even patched it yet?

I finished the game, but had some annoying bugs (such as yours) pop up after (i.e. my kid disappearing after I rescued him from trolls or something like that).

Have you checked the official forums for any info on your problem? (wish I could help, but haven't encountered that one yet...)

Cheers!

It has been patched and that has fixed most of my annoying problems with the game. My wife loves this game. I've never had my wife disappear, and my kids have never been kidnapped yet.

That's good to know. I'll have to connect to get that.

My god...three days into an Obama presidency and we're already letting thread titles like this go by for an entire day without being parodied?

What's next - using the phrase "immediate followup posting"? Spellchecking the titles of impressions threads? Decrying the crass commercialism of Pumpy Day?

I don't know you people anymore.

I was really disapointed, after I took the sex change potion my wife wouldn't have sex with me anymore! She just said "that would be great IF YOU WERE A MAN!"

Next thing you know, some dude started hitting on me so I killed him. Thankfully I was done playing the game, this stuff was starting to creep me out.
