IT has become clear to me that I have far too much stuff on my plate.

I am getting married in October, my job is really taking up a lot of my time, and a few other items are simply not leaving me the time or energay needed to properly run this league. This is completely unfair to you guys as the members.

I do not want to see the league die. Honestly. I want this thing to continue. But I just can't run it. SO if aomeone out there has the time and inclination to manage this league, the website, et al, please let me know. I can store all the car files for you online so you can get them. I will also gladly assist in transferring the website over to someone else's storage facility. (and offer tech help if the layout is hard to comprehend)

The Busch and TCS are both still in the capable hands ong Kevin and Gold101. Should one of them choose to take over Cup as well then things will remain in good hands. If someone else wants to take over, we are using NASCAR Racing 2002 Season currently, and the cars could always be converted to 2003 edition after the end of the current season. I believe I can export the actual season files too, but I'll have to look into that.

I'm sorry to have to step down, but I just have to cut back on stuff. I will gladly remain a player and take part in discussion in the future. I love this game.

I appreciate all the help and support everyone has shown me in the last year or so that we've run this. Its been a blast.

Thanks for all the great work RendeR (and Shorty and Kevin and gold101 and I hope I'm not missing anyone else)!

Honestly, I wouldn't be able to step up to the plate, but I hope someone will.

Thanks a lot for all the work, Render. You got me to pay attention to your league when I really could care less about Nascar. As soon as someone else takes over, I'll keep up with it but I don't have the game so I can't run it.

I am still packaging everything and trying to write up an easy to follow sheet for the things I did. I'll get it up in my web space soon.

Kudos to you Ren! (Damn you Kodos. You have screwed up that work for ALL of us now.) I appreciate your work on this and have to say it has been fun. I'm glad to see gold is picking up the torch.

Good luck with the marriage. Hope all goes well!!

Huge zip files

Ok Gold101, here is your nightmare =)

I've packaged up the cars, the extra tracks, and the seasons directory so you should be able to pick up season 5 right wehere I stopped it.

there are three zip files, all of which are like 25 meg. I even cut out a majority of the cars in the file that weren't in our league. There are a bunch of xtras there too, some of the busch cars and some others that are options for people to use.

You can see the setup for each season once you copy the series directory into your game (make a backup of your series directory before this, just in case somehting happens)

The signup forms still have my email address in them, just change that to yours and it should work fine. It will be using my CGI file om my server, but I don't have a problem with that. test it out, if it doesn't work we'll see what we need to change.

Can't seem to get the files to download right now. I don't know if it's my computer or something but I'll try it again a later.
