Fictional players

I've searched and can't find any answer to this.

How do you begin a league set in the past with fictional players? I saw mention of a 1970 file that will do such a thing, but there are no links to it in any of the resource threads.

DOH. I figured out the fictional part. Still working on the year part.

I'm new to FOF2007 myself...AFAIK, the only way to create a fictional universe in the past is to generate a player file with only one player in it, then let the game fill out the rest of the rosters (as it was in FOF2004). But of course you don't get good talent & experience variety that way.
