ping FOF grafiix h4><><0rz

Just curious... we know it's possible to create and apply various handmade graphics to overlay on top of those used in the FOF game. I use some snappy-looking revised numerals created by cuervo, I think, that make all my roster ratings look really nice.

My question is... do we have the wherewithal now, with your ability to hack graphics in the game, to create a no-bars experience? If we could hack the numeric ratings graphics to just be color-coded ovals (or not even that, maybe identical ovals) then we could use our roster page to sort by overall skill (see who's better than whom, according to our scouts), but not by precise numeric rating. That would be a start. Then, is there any way to rewrite the graphics used for the red and green bars, to wipe those out?

Just a fairly idle thought... I'm guessing this is beyond our capacity, but it's worth a shot. I'll confess that one of the things that I wish we could do more of in FOF was really depend on statistics. Part of the reason I don't is because of the ever-present ratings, that I trust so much more. Maybe if the ratings were removed as much as possible, I could play this game with results counting for a lot more.

*shurg*

You could make the gray/red/green/blue/orange bars all gray, sure.

Actually, try this. Swap it in for Bitmap->165->1033.

Edit: doing the 0...100 numbers would take a little more time, though that's still doable.
