Hi,
Is there any way to set up a season so one team can play the same opponent 16 times? It would be a nice way to test out different tactics efficiently. Thanks, Merry the Hobbit |

Just re-load the game after it's played 15 times.
Why the thumbs down? |

It's not entirely save to claim you're playing the same opponent 16 times, but if you create a league with one team being yours and all others having the same rosters, you get a chance to play the same team over and over.
At te same time, you'll notice how wide the variety of single-season results can be between AI teams with the same players. Plus, the sample size police won't trust tests of just 16 games. ![]()

Hi,
That's a good idea. I would like to create a "league" with 16 identical rosters. ( I have no idea how to do that.) Is it hard? Then, using identical game plans for each team version and running one season we would have 16 x 15 games = 240 game results for the for the sample size. The yearly league statistics sheet would summarize league ave QB rating, ave yds/att, etc. Next change all the gameplans and rerun. Compare. What do you think? Can someone help me create this "identical roster league" ? Thanks, Merry the Hobbit Last edited by merry : 04-12-2009 at 09:52 AM. |
