2 TE Formations

Hi Guys can you please help me out.....My QB hasn`t that many formations so am playing a lot of 2 TE Formations in my SP game.

I was wondering how this works regarding which side is the strong side that the defence keys against , TE1 or TE2? If TE1 is classed as being the "Strong" TE,do you guys think by putting my best recieving TE at TE2 I would gain an advantage?

When I`m in a 2TE formation and the defence is playing double covarage I guess this means my one FL/SE gets double covered.Who do you think the 2nd CB covers then,my running back,my TE2?

On the Misc Offensive Settings screen where it says how many plays the TE stays to block when he`s not the primary or secondary target,If your playing with 2 Te`s which one does that apply to,TE1 or TE2?

What benefit would there be for "NOT Keeping him in 100% of plays where he IS`NT primary or secendary target".If he`s not going to be thrown to,why would you NOT have him blocking on all downs?

Just a few thoughts that have cropped up ,thanking you in advance for your thoughts.

In the RL football, no matter what receiving option you are each WR/TE has a role on each pass play. In some cases a WR runs the Go route not because he is the 1st or 2nd option, but because he will stretch the defense and open up the primary receivers underneath.

The same can be said for a TE. Even if he is not the primary or 2nd receiver on a play, he still has to be covered. Which means there is one less defender covering your primary or secondary target. By "keeping him in 100% of the time" the defensive secondary never has to account for him which means they can just focus on your primary targets which is not a good thing.

I would imagine it is similar in the game.
