TEW 08 - Southern Championship Wrestling

This is my first time writing a dynasty. I created my own company Southern Championship Wrestling and we're located in the Southeast. My character is Charles Avatar. Normally I chose a character who is a non-wrestler but for the sake of the story I decided to involve myself. I welcome feedback on the story and on which wrestlers I should push. Also on things I can do to make this a better read.

My champions are as follows:

SCW World Champion: Jungle Jack
SCW Intercontinental Champion: Acid
SCW World Tag Team: The Dirty White Boys

I have two T.V. shows Warzone which is one Mondays and Smackdown (yes I know I am not original) which is on Thursdays. All of my pay per views are on the fourth Saturday of the month.

Anything else you want to know please ask me and I will provide the information.

Creative Meeting

CHARLES AVATAR is holding an emergency meeting with his creative staff because Nemesis has died from drug abuse.

CHARLES AVATAR
(Sad)

As many of you know by now Nemesis was found last night in his hotel room unconscious. This is a significant blow to our development program and as such we need to send a new trainer down there.

CRIPPLER RAY KINGMAN
I think we should end out relationship with Mid Atlantic Wrestling because the impact of his death has spooked all of the kids down there.

DUNCAN KENDALL
I agree with Ray.

CHARLES AVATAR
I don’t think Rip Chord will like that very much. We entered into an agreement with his company and we will honor that agreement.

PHIL VIBERT walks into the meeting.

CHARLES AVATAR (CONT'D)
Phil I am sorry about Nemesis.

PHIL VIBERT
(Crying)
I can’t believe he is gone. We had plans to open up our own company in a few years and now all of that is gone.

CHARLES AVATAR
Phil, I will understand if you want to take some time off. We can put the storyline you’re involved in on the slow burn until you’re feeling better.

PHIL VIBERT

CREATIVE MEETING

CHARLES AVATAR
Alright guys first things first we need a trainer to send down to development. Rip Chord called me last night and told me the boys will be fine.

CRIPPLER RAY KINGMAN
Well we can sign a veteran and have him take over.

CHARLES AVATAR
Ray I need names and not some generic idea. What do you have Dunc?

DUNCAN KENDALL
(Going over his notes)
I think Larry Wood would be the best person to send down boss.

CRIPPLER RAY KINGMAN
Why? So he can teach those kids how to beat themselves up in Hardcore matches?
(To Charles)
I thought we were trying to develop future stars? If you send him down there he isn’t going to teach them anything of value to our company.

DUNCAN KENDALL
I disagree. Larry is a smart guy and is the perfect person to mentor these kids in light of our recent tradegy.

CHARLES AVATAR
I agree with Dunc. Larry is a total professional and would serve as the best role model for these kids.

CRIPPLER RAY KINGMAN
Those kids aren’t going to respond to someone who hasn’t had any kind of success in America boss.

CHARLES AVATAR
I think you’re underestimating them Ray. I think Larry is indeed the best person for the job. He’s currently a midcard guy who is nothing more then a stepping stone for some of our younger guys. Dunc, please make sure Larry is notified.

DUNCAN KENDALL
No problem boss.

Cripple Ray Kingman snickers under his breath.

Alright boys next piece of business is our pay per view “Final Resolution” any ideas?

CRIPPLER RAY KINGMAN
I think Champagne Lover and Jungle Jack for the strap would make for a great main event. With Champagne going over.

DUNCAN KENDALL
I agree with Ray. Except I don’t think Jungle Jack should drop the strap to Champagne.

CRIPPLER RAY KINGMAN
He’s our top star. He needs to be the face of the company.

DUNCAN KENDALL
I agree. However Jack is a big hit with the kids and besides his feud with Jack Griffith he really hasn’t had enough time to get over.

CHARLES AVATAR
I agree with Dunc. I think Jungle Jack should hold on to the strap a little longer. However him and Champagne should be able to deliver a solid main event.

CRIPPLER RAY KINGMAN
Boss we have not had a new championship since the company opened. We’re becoming a little stale right now and we need a new champion for the fans to get behind.

CHARLES AVATAR
What do you suggest?

CRIPPLER RAY KINGMAN
If we’re not going to take the strap off Jungle Jack then we need to have a new Intercontinental champion. How about letting Stevie Grayson win the title off Acid? Acid is useless without Phil there to manage him and we can turn that into a storyline.

CHARLES AVATAR
Great idea. What do you think Dunc?

DUNCAN KENDALL
I agree with Ray. I think Stevie should win the title and then drop it to another heel wrestler a month later at the “Great American Bash” so that we don’t have all face champions.

could give a little more feedback with roster and product setings oh by the way I am an Acid mark so i think useless may be a little harsh.
