How does that even fit in with what is being said. Stop trolling and post something useful. And good for the troops. I hope they get to see their parents when they come home. |

Was this broadcasted on CNN or just included in a story/article?
I'd love to see the Video of this taking place.. Defenitely one of those things that would make many a grown man tear up a bit. Thanks SkyDog!

see what you miss when you go away.
![]() And Easy, I think it IS appropriate to reflect on what Professor de Genova said. After all, these are the men he'd like to see dead.

The sad thing is, the armed forces of most armies are full of men and women who are like this, but they rarely get the recognison they deserve.
To them Honour, Duty, Compassion and Patriotism are not just words to put in a speech, but concepts they live by. I wish them all well, and hope their sacrifices are worthwhile and remembered by the rest of us for as long as we live. Thanks for reminding me of this Skydog. |

Unfortunately, Snopes has found that this report wasn't filed. The deceased soldier's name and hometown are accurate, and CNN admits that its reporters do sometimes allow soldiers to use their phones, however the result itself was not filed.
If the story is "made up," it is unfortunate, as I am sure there are a number of similar stories that are true and would bring forth similar emotions. http://www.snopes.com/glurge/savidge.php |
