Sprained thumb

I have an LT with a sprained thumb. He is probable, but has moderate risk of re-injury (for 3 weeks). What further injury could he get? A broken hand, maybe? I'm usually very wary of "moderate" or more likely re-injuries, but sprained thumb doesn't seem that bad to me. Of course, I'm relating this to RL where linemen play with broken fingers, casts, etc. regularly.

The first step toward recovery is admitting that you have a problem.

Yep, moderate is moderate, doesn't matter where it is. Substantial risk of re-injury, and it's usually awful. It also wouldn't make sense in RL, but check turf condition of where you're playing. Moderate + bad turf = season/career ender.
