5th WR Getting More PT than 4th WR

I've noticed that my 5th WR has been getting more time on the field than my 4th WR. I was just wondering why this might be. It shouldn't be an endurance issue, as they aren't getting much PT.

Assuming that your "4th WR" means your reserve split end... how are the endurance ratings for your #1 and #2 flankers? Maybe both guys are getting tired and calling the 5th WR to play flanker more often than your top split end is sitting out.

My 4th WR is my reserve FL. I put my 2nd SE in the slot on 3 receiver sets.

Anyhow, my starting Flanker has an endurance rating of 100, my starting SE 75, reserve SE 68, reserve FL 48, and 5th WR 56.

I assume by PT you mean plays, not catches? And that your QB knows both 4-WR and 5-WR formations? If, for example, your QB didn't know (or you chose not to use) 4-WR formations, I could see the #5 getting more catches than the #4 if he had better route running. But more plays? That would be surprising

I do not have a 4 WR set as my QB doesn't know it yet. But it is more plays, not more passes. My last game, for example, my 5th WR saw 12 total plays while my 4th WR saw 7 total plays. Not a huge deal, but my 4th receiver is quite a bit better than my 5th one.

So with the 4-wide out of the equation, the only non-substitution package that has either the 4th WR or the 5th WR in the game is the 5-wide, right?

If your 3-wide set is FL, SE1, SE2; maybe WR5 will be more often chosen to sub in for one of the SEs instead of FL2 because of positions? What are the natural positions of those two players?
