QB Controversy...
I'm in a SP career, and wanted ur opinion on who I should start this year at QB...
My scout's 'Good'/'Good' as far as QBs/Talent We have the old vet... The reclamation project... And the young buck... I want to start the young buck, keep the vet as a backup and sign a mentor, but I don't know... Opinions? (This is post allocation, pre-week 1) The reclamation has been horrible in preseason, while the young guy promising, and the veteran solid. Rex wants to start the reclamation though, and I'm not sure. He's the best currently, but the young guy as upside and needs PT. While the vet is a solid player too, most likely to be the backup regardless. Last edited by NiteMaestro : 09-06-2009 at 12:52 PM. Reason: Add info |

Start and keep Thorn, dump the other two guys, look for a quarterback mentor in free agency.

What about chemistry/cohesion?
Should I worry about that at all? |

This. Unless you have sentimental reasons for keeping one of the other two.

With their Sense Rush of 0 and 4 the two oldtimers would spend a lot of time on the ground and maybe fumbling balls when hit.
Even when Thorn only manages to grow to a 37 his set of skills is a bit better thant that of the other two. So, as said before: get a mentor.. and pray you'll find a better QB in free agency or the next draft.. |
