Thumbs down 2009 NFL Schedule?

Is there anyway that you can create or import the 2009 NFL Schedule. I have imported Matt's fine Player File. Now all that is to be done is the current schedule. I have just purchased FOF2007 a couple of days ago and it seems to be real good!!!

I'm not sure if it would work, but if you had the knowhow you might be able to edit one of the schedXX.fdt files in the game's main directory. Who knows what that might blow up though.

I looked at that, but I can't make heads or tails out of the Sched files. They are in *.fdt format and I have nothing that can view them or see what these files are.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure those are binary files. Without specific sourcecode knowledge or some serious reverse engineering chops you're probably not going to be able to do much besides crash your game.

Does Jim update schedules when he does roster updates? I never use "real" players, so I don't pay attention to it, but if I recall, I think he does that...

Yeah. The new schedule will likely be in there IIRC.

That sounds right Ben. In subsequent seasons, of course, the game uses the general NFL formula: home and home against division teams (6 games), full slate of games against a single division in your own conference on a rotating basis (4 games), full slate of games against a single division in the other conference on rotating basis by division (4 games) and 2 games against other two teams who finished in your spot in the standings from other divisions in your own conference.

When I purchased the game, it came with the "stock" 2008 NFL Players and Schedule. This was for the current FOF 2007 v. 6.2. I using Matt's 2009 Player File and I want to use the REAL 2009 NFL Schedule. I am not really interesting in the career mode or the financial system of FOF; just want to have something like a projection system or season. Used to play SOM which is good but limited is that it is like the board game that I played when I was a kid. Tried DK Action Sports Football which has a projection Disk but the interface is confusing and clunky to use. I also looked into Second and Ten Football which looks interested and I tried the demo but it also look a little confusing to use. FOF at least is simple to play a game.

Considering this is pretty much the core of what the game is all about, I'm not sure what you are actually expecting.

just wait a bit. jim alluded to some type of 2009-patch, which typically includes player updates and schedule updates
