Image and video library?

Was about to purchase the educational access with the Associated Press but they do not offer video for schools just yet. I really need access to images as well as video and even sound bites and music with royalties being attached.

I'm willing to spend some dough (school's money at least) but want to make sure I have a very nice and modern library to choose from. It also must be something the students can download without needing to share 1 set of discs etc.

Any suggestions? I want something really solid...hope there is SOMETHING out there that you guys would recommend.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but, lynda.com has a lot of resources. If not, there might be some links to find what you are looking for on there.

Not sure if there's anything in this list that would help but you might get lucky with one of the links at
educationalsoftware - Free Image Libraries

You'd have to dig for it, cause I'm not finding an immediate clear answer, but you might also check to see what could be reasonable with www.gettyimages.com

And this might be interesting too
Internet Archive: Free Downloads: Moving Image Archive

And this looks promising for music possibly

And stills apparently specifically for educators

2 more links list for educators

Looks kind of sparse but some stills for educators at
http://www.pics4learning.com/

I hadn't heard their name in a while & I'm only vaguely familiar but you probably ought to see what's available via
http://creativecommons.org/

Small US centric open license photo dbase (looks like maybe a photographer who has done some domestic traveling)
http://pdphoto.org/index.php

Don't know how deep it is but this seemed somewhat promising at first glance
