Should I Buy?

Should I get this game? With the new patch/update out. Is the 2009 roster good?

If your justification for buying the game is the 2009 roster I do not believe you understand the game at all. I would suggest you do some research, play with the demo, and read this forum. The 2009 roster will be invalid in about 20 minutes of play time when you advance the season so I would not factor the 2009 roster into the buying decision at all.

I wasn't basing my decision off the 2009 roster set. I was just wondering if it's a good set. Do the players pan out in the long run and stuff.

I don't understand you're concern with the roster, but Multiplayer is loads of fun. Very immersing.

All I can say about the roster is that you'll have 53 guys on your team every single year, or my name isn't Nathan Arizona. It's up to you if they're any good.

The roster doesn't matter that much, as the game automatically uses an X Factor to adjust the roster. This makes the game replayable. So, if you don't like what you see, you just start another game, until you do.

Also, there is the ability to create your own roster file to work with, as well as using a randomly generated file.

Buy the game for the competition, the comraderie and the challenge of building a team.

Don't buy for any one set of rosters.

That said, I think the 2009 rosters came out pretty good. The community has also built several 2009 roster set that are solid.
