Problem getting Save Game Converter to Run
Anybody else having a problem getting the save game to find my game. I am getting an error saying that I don't have a pre 6.3 game installed. It is installed just in a different location than the default install location. Is there a way to change where the utility looks?

Try the registry key trick we're doing in the UtilitySuite, if you moved it manually and not through the installer.

Thanks for the quick reply Greg, do you have a link to a thread? I will do a search as well. BTW, I picked up your old Raleigh team in WOOF.

Look right below this thread ;-)
It's also heavily discussed in the 6.3 thread.

That did the trick, I didn't have a registry value for Solecismic. Had to manually create one. Thanks Greg.

This thing has been running for over an hour, it shouldn't take that long right?

It may, depending. It took over 15m for me, with 1900 files to copy.

Most importantly, it should tell you how many files it has to copy, and how many it has done so far, so you should see some indication of progress.
Note that it does a poor job of telling you it's done. When the numbers match, give it a minute, then quit.

It just flashed for me, I assumed it was done and went on to the next step but it apparently didn't do jack squat. Ended up manually moving the files myself.

That utility completely froze on me, I just aborted it and did the rest myself.

I had it apparently freeze as well, but it was still working. When it finished, it "came back".
