Injuries in 6.3

Anyone notice an increase in both injuries and the duration of injuries with 6.3?

Just starting our first season after the conversion, and after two weeks of games we have about 150 injuries. Nine of those are 10+ weeks and 11 are unknown.

I don't see an "injury rating" choice in the game options so not sure if there is a way to "dial these down".

sample size, most likely...i'll run a check in a bit on a near-complete 6.3 season...

PFL guys would have to verify that they were on 6.3 for all the regular season and that they didn't change injury settings*, but I'm pretty sure they have been. Here are the injuries per week over there in the past few seasons. 2030 is the current one where they're on 6.3:

2026: 31.18
2027: 30.47
2028: 29.47
2029: 30.00
2030: 28.21

WOOF has only played one regular season week in 6.3. We had 62 injuries in it. Last year was our first season with injuries at 200. We averaged 74.12 injuries per week. I wouldn't declare them "down" yet, though. I'd expect lower numbers earlier in the year as re-injuries haven't had as much of a chance to pile up. I don't know this for sure, but I'd suspect that somewhere in the Week 14-16 range would be the highest-injury week. (most games played + highest chance for re-injuries)

*--Speaking of that, with all the redoing of batch files, I'd make sure your commish double-checks that the injury setting is correct. Fortunately I caught it before simming any games, but in the upgrade process, I ended up with an old .fgr that had WOOF's old injury setting.

That did happen. It popped up to the original 150 the old commissioner had been using. I dialed it back down to 100.
