What cap adjustment range do you use?

Just curious what most leagues are using.

I'm just starting my first full season running a league and trying to get more familiar with the details of this game I didn't have to pay much attention to as an owner. Biggest concern is exploding salaries. In one league I'm in a player just got 225 million for 5 years. I really want to keep my historical league in a "good place" with era type contracts. Just not sure how to set those ratings to keep contract sizes in line.
